Lee received her the Mark H. McCormack award in the season of 2019 after becoming the most popular amateur. In her amateur career, Lee achieved four holes in one, and one albatross. Lee was ranked in the top 10 two times during her debut season on the LPGA Tour. She came in seventh at the AIG Women's Open 2020, hosted at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee's debut LPGA Tour victory came in 2022 at the Portland Classic. Lee devoted her victory to her late father Min Lee, stating that he said I was a great player and was always confident that I could do it. She stated, "I was so grateful to him. I'm sure he's still following me." Her earlier competitions include soccer, taekwondo, and figure skating. Lee has a wide range of hobbies outside golf, including movies, shopping and singing.
